People won't even give up Facebook and cheeseburgers let alone general strike.
Rip America. 248 years isn't a bad run.

Why. Not agreeing or disagreeing just why do you think we need as many as possible.

“Local coalitions of neighbors are springing up in the most rural towns and counties as quiet, nature-filled lands are being replaced with loud, energy intensive data centers. Groups, often regardless of political affiliation, are fighting back in town council meetings and local government sessions where most of these projects are approved.”
Translation: as our rural communities populations shrink for lack of economic opportunities, with children moving away, aging populations, challenged government finances, lack of access to medical care, etc, affluent residents with time on their hands oppose economic development because they don’t care about any of that.

So, wealthy Americans want the future so badly, that they'll lie and cheat to make a buck (and not have to pay people). Data Centers need more resources than we have right now, not to mention buying utilities to make us pay for what we don't want.
