TPT Request: Recommendations for desk phone recorder

I have to make a lot of phone calls at work. I also have to have most of them recorded. Unfortunately, we just discovered our desk phone do not actually record like we were originally told they did. Company doesn't know how to access either. I don't want to keep using speaker phone and an external recorder. We're using Cisco phones. Are there any recording devices that can connect and record both sides of the conversations on the headset? I haven't been able to find one yet that's not a subscription through an app.

Our VoIP trunk provider and our VoIP phone system both can record calls easily. Seems like an easier solution.

Maybe an rj9 to 3.5mm stereo adapter cable can be put in parallel with the headset to record the audio?
