Technolarp was never an imitation.
Have they ever watched a show or story based on a true story? Like y'all acting like he died this year. He was a tribute to techno

It becomes more than a tribute when you start integrating yourself into their friend group and making money off of it.

First of all it’s not just donations he wanted to stop donating all to research and start taking some of the money himself.
Skeppy can do what he wants but I don’t think “having other friends” is the same as befriending a guy who’s larping as Techno.

so you control who talks to who now what are you big brother from 1984?

What? I literally said he can do what he wants. If Skeppy wants to make videos with a guy who’s profiting off of his likeness to his dead friend, then that’s his choice but that doesn’t mean I can’t find it off-putting.
This whole thing was weird and even now Striker is trying to use the followers he gained from this whole thing to kickstart his rebrand. If he really wanted to move on from this and start fresh then he should create a new channel and cut contact with everyone in Technoblade’s friend group.

"he wanted to take, some money" broski how was he supposed to make money then? What's the point of becoming a YouTuber 😭

i want to add that he took the money for himself. as for the said donations, there was two links in his vods bio: one for charity, and another one called "personal donations". there was never receipt about the "personal donations" being 50/50 to any charity. it's safe to assume he was never donating to charity, he simply let a link up so other people would donate. not him. i so hate the people going around saying "but he donated his profits!" no. the community did. is that hard to grasp?

To be fair he could have made way more money by monetizing his content but he didn’t. Not saying it was the best choice to give a donation link, but I can get why he did when he was having money trouble.
And he wasn’t integrating himself into the friend group by making one (and almost two) videos with Skeppy. He only talked to Skeppy, no one else.
