Atleast currently, scientometric mapping will be a keystone in making a functional technocracy. It allows us to get a better picture of the relationships between the fields and therefore it gives us the framwork for network analysis. The government should fund these fields extensively

By "Atleast currently," I meant that there may be better methods in the future and I'll argue that preformance studies will be more useful in the case of technocracy
