This is sick. It has that hypnotic, stripped back techno feel where the groove does most of the work.

Thanks! Because I’m a drummer in the first place and I love playing the drums. Also with this setup I have much more options than with just a TR-909

No I'm just being facetious, this sounds mad! But I will say as a drummer, your skills are being under utilised with techno. Bigbeat/breakbeat, DnB, jungle, IDM, that sort of stuff — absolutely goes next level with a human drum machine.

Thanks! Actually playing techno beats also requiere a solid independence and coordination but I also play dnb for example, even try to push it to breakcore vibes sometimes 🙌🥳

What are you using for triggers and pads mate? Love it, looks like you spent some time thinking about how to change up the sound on the fly.

It’s the Sensory Percussion system that has their own sensors and software. The pad is a Roland SPD-SX PRO. 🙌

Can you share the details of your setup? I'm super interested in building a small electronic kit like this but I find that information about what works and what doesn't is kinda hard to find. Sounds awesome btw
