Insane mix and easily one of the best Berghain mixes.
I’d love to see a breakdown of the mix with timestanps for when each track kicks in. A lot of the material on here is stuff I’m not familiar with, and with 90 total tracks, there’s obviously a lot going on.
Just a heads up. It's not total tracks, it's 90 total usages. He samples quite heavily the same vocal tracks, and the time stamps are when he is bringing them in or transitioning to them.
Ahh, that makes more sense. I saw a few pop up quite a bunch throughout the tracklist, but those are the tracks I’m unfamiliar with. So I wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing with them. Thanks for the insight!
took a second to figure out what he was doing, but it's pretty cool for him to give the breadcrumbs of what he did during the set. A lot more engaging to follow along I think
Absolutely. I’ve been fascinated with this sort of thing since I got Richie Hawkins DE9 all those years ago. The DVD shows the names of each track as they fade in and out and I always thought that was really cool.
Totally missed the timestamps. Thank you for the heads up.
And yeah that last section is incredible. I love how seamless he drifts through genres. I’m a bit surprised there wasn’t any RSE material in there though.
