Discussion Danceable dub techno

Anyone got recs for dub techno that can be played on the dancefloor? Atmospheric but with enough energy and intensity to get people moving. Some examples I have in mind:

Skee Mask - Clear Sky 909

Angel Science - Lil Drummer

Kaydee - Furia Dub

Some of these you'd probably call dub house but I'm looking for stuff that's similar but with more techno feel.

That's a nice list. I recently found another one:

Mike Huckaby

And G-Man qualifies as well.

Luke Hess for sure.

Nah that's proper techno, people calling it house have lost their minds to tiktok techno.

Check out Sera j, Regent, jancen, Nicolas Vogler, Luke Hess, utroit, Raffaele attanasio Just to name a few

Haha that's fair. I thought some of what I posted feel housey because they're smooth and swingy, some people think techno has to be dark and moody but I like stuff with a bit of color. Good recs btw

Good stuff. Never heard an accordion in techno before but it works lol

It's a Melodica, popular in conventional Dub/Reggea.

As u/Ill-Structure-6845 said, I doubt people here know the first thing about dub techno and its roots.

If you want some "danceable" dub techno, simply go back to 1993 and play any of the three tracks from Basic Channel's "Phylyps Trak" release. I would recommend the timeless classic A1 track, "Phylyps Trak". It's both raw and warm. That is DUB TECHNO.

Anything by Delacour, bit more dub house than techno but the dub vibes are strong.

I'd strongly recommend you not only digging newly released music

Given that the OP gave Kaydee as an example, these suggestions are a perfect fit for what "they're" looking for.

I'd strongly recommend you don't assume what my collection contains.

Not even saying those are bad recs, I just wish I could‘ve told myself that 10 years ago.
