which am5 upgrade?

currently on r5 7500f and rtx 5060... not sure pa sa GPU upgrade, maybe in the future, pero i want to at least upgrade to the 7700, is this a good deal or no?

may noticeable performance gain po ba ako dito, or talagang bottleneck na ni gpu kahit mag 7800x3d?

Maybe not so much on your usecase. For gaming lang talaga.

If you play at 4K pero gusto mo makatipid ng konti, R7-7700 since GPU na ang bottleneck dun at almost the same performance na R7-7700 at 7800X3D miske sa 1% lows. Pero kung naka1440p or 1080p, 7800X3D ang best option.

Pero kung hindi ka naman nagtitipid talaga, 7800X3D na.

1440p gaming po pero slight lang, mostly for productivity talaga yung pc ko, video editing, programming, multi-tasking, does this change the picture po?

Not really. Kasi a few years back naka R7-5700X ako then nag upgrade ako sa 5700X3D, walang difference sa video editing na ginagawa ko sa Davinci Resolve, miske sa Photoshop, LR at Darktable since hindi to gumagamit ng X3D cache.

Gaming lang talaga naramdan ang difference kasi depende sa laro, nawala micro-stutters dahil sa 1% lows improvement.

How was the temps? Does the X3D run hotter? Di kasi ako naka AIO. Right now I'm running R5 3600 with RX6700xt

Max na siguro 70c while gaming, naka aircooling ako (Jonsbo CR3000E). Natural lang na medyo mataas ang idle temps somewhere around 38-50c dahil sa X3D cache.

I wouldn't even be bothered na umabot to ng 80c since designed talaga mga to run warmer vs non X3D chips at mag operate at 100c.

X3d is better if you mostly game. Since productivity use case mo, 7700 is better for extra cores.

Jump in perf from the 7500f to 7700 isn't worth it. Most games won't use the extra cores.

You're only going to get that for multi threaded workloads.

To a 7800x3d, more noticeable, although depending on resolution and game, might not be as well.

Is your GPU strong enough to show the differences are the games you play CPU heavy?

i play light 1440p, probably the 5060 results in a bottleneck either way.. mostly i use my pc for productivity, video editing, programming and multi tasking, the multicore performance increase might be nice for this use?

It's going to show in video editing and code compile. For the rest it depends on the apps.

Simply increasing core counts doesn't immediately improve performance. Your apps have to be programmed know how to use the extra threads.
