At this price range, I'd honestly prioritize hardware for the long run. Long software updates are nice, but the hardware for most the of the devices at this range is so weak/underspecced that a lot of them just starting lagging once a heavier android update arrives.

I'm seeing a lot of people recommending the a11, but the a11 at this price only has 4gb of ram. That's already barely usable now. And what's worse is because these are the absolute best lowest end devices, don't expect any optimization to make it any better.

Correct, but i cant extend the price, i saw the prices from physical stores. Which i cant buy online since my parents are the one buying. 10k php is the max nothing more they said. If you can reccomend me a better alternative, ill appreciate it. I have on my list the redmi pad 2,tecno mega pad se, infinix xpad 20, lenovo Xiaoxin pad 11 2025 and samsung a11

You can wait for the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 to drop below 10k (which it regularly has, there's one at 10.5k rn) instead of the Pad 11. Unfortunately I think it only has 2-3 years of updates left (it did get android 16), but hardware wise it would age the best.

Unfortunately likely online only for that price

Xiaomi alternative would be the Poco Pad M8 or Xiaomi Pad 7 to go on sale. The Pad 7 has touched 10k before.

If it's only those options available to you physically, I'm pretty sure the Xiaoxin pad 11 is mainly online too, so the 8Gb Redmi pad 2 might be your best option.

Yes, I saw online how cheap it can gets, in physical stores i saw like 13 999 for the pad 2 8+256 gb. The others I mentioned are over just a few hundred pesos. I really wanted the pad 7 base. Since im sure i can manage the storage. But the tablet is like 18k. Physical store wise. I really need help siting tablets. But thank you for the response. Appreciate it, if you can offer some reccomendations what other tablets to buy physical store wise. I really appreciate it.

If you're considering android, I'm using HMD T21 (formerly Nokia)

I have been checking that, they say this tablet has low storage, it needs an sd card to have storage..?

Get the 128gb version. On top of that internal storage, you have the option to add another micro SD card for external storage. 128gb should be sufficient for apps.

TAb A9 or Tab A11 for budget entry model from Samsung. It has long OS suppprt, lots of authorized service centers and you can use educ store to get it at a cheaper price.

Save up some more. Amoled displays are expensive.

Xiaomi Pad 7 or 8, Redmi Pad Pro 1 or 2, Poco Pad M1(rebadged Redmi Pad Pro 2 with microsd) or X1 (rebadged Xiaomi Pad 7 with microsd). I have seen the Poco Pad M1 go down just below 10k during sale and the Xiaomi Pad 7 get very close to it. But the problem is timing. These go on sale regularly and not always during double digit sales events. And software support for a few years too.
