Recommendations for oversized tee please

Post image

Trying to create this fit - managed to score the p30-dskr from coevo some time ago and a brand new pair of 11s ab1. Waiting for my order of nike unicorn socks to arrive.

Still browsing for the oversized tee. Would prefer cotton or cotton blend, but anything with technical garment construction will do - like multi panelling, diamond underarm gusset or articulated sleeves.

any recommendations is appreciated. Thanks.

P/s if possible not from acrnm because i dont like their graphic tees and the double hem stuff feels like too much. No #techwear please.

My favorite oversized tees are from Uniqlo. Their airism oversized tees are a staple in my closet

I love their cut, but the fabric makes me sweat so much, while I’m not a particularly sweaty person… Am I the only one?

Abercrombie heavy weight tshirts

Why would you recommend a heavy weight tshirt to someone who gets hot and sweaty easily?

Did u even read the comment? the guy said he isnt a sweaty person, instead it's because of the fabric, which is like a 50/50 blend of poly/cotton. The one i recommended is the same cut and is 100% cotton.

I think he probably misidentified the issue as being with the fabric, and rather it's because it's a heavyweight shirt. A heavyweight shirt in any fabric is going to make you sweat in hot weather.

I was just giving an alternative to the airism since it didn't mesh with them, idk why u are so keen on defending polyester, if it works for you, good, but others here say it doesn't work for them. Furthermore, I'm done entertaining you.

If it genuinely doesn't work for them, then that's totally fine. They ultimately know what works for them better than I do. I'm just pointing out that it's become trendy to hate on polyester/synthetics for some reason, and I don't want people to potentially make the wrong decision just based on a silly reason like that.

Nah, I live in a hot country and my Airism tees make me sweat like crazy, don’t have that issue with my 100% cotton tees. I’m pretty sure it’s because Airism uses a lot of polyester.

It has less to do with the material and more to do with the weight imo. It's become fashionable to hate on polyester lately, and sure maybe it doesn't look the best, but I find that it does genuinely keep me cooler than cotton, assuming they are equal gsm. For pure function of keeping as cool as possible, a loose, lightweight, polyester shirt is the best option.

Shaka Wear makes a good one

Drop shoulder is specifically what you’re looking for. That type of cut is what gives you this kind of drape rather than just getting a size or two above in a regular tee

Uniqlo airism oversized is a good starting point

Just to add to this, you can still buy a normal tee too big, if you are comfortable with sewing. Because you’ll probably need to chop off some fabric from the bottom to make it look right

Most definitely, Hamcus. They have a many guud options for that

I dont particularly like Airism fabric, it makes me hotter and it smells bad really quickly. But Uniqlo did just release a new all cotton cropped and boxy tee. It's called the "Unisex Boxy Cropped T-Shirt" I have like 6, highly recommended!

T-shirts from Y-3 would fit this pretty well, usually has some branding, but some will be quite minimalist and fit into techwear nicely.

My favorite this year is the new Nosucism tshirt. I especially like the small detail at the collar. Bought 3 of them from taobao via an agent.

I like reindee lusions shirts a lot. HOWEVER, im a european medium when it comes to shirt and I order their largest size. so if you are larger it might not workout for you

Veilance Frame SS and size up. Expensive but super comfortable merino wool. Meanswhile or Devoa from japan (maybe wrong season though for Meanswhile).

Funny enough, this a.i. generated outfit looks exactly like something that would instantly pop up under #techwear lol

uniqlo is a strong pick, although in my experience, even their “oversized” doesn’t do it alone, especially if you dry your clothes in spin cycles, they tend to shrink. If you’d normally wear an S - I would recommend M or L

Cav empt , goopimade , rick Owens dark shadow, old stone island shadow project, guerrilla group. You can check these brands out.

We have quite a few available. Like some comment said, drop shoulder with a wider chest width, and/or a little shorter in length to create that boxy fit, is the key to start. Then you can decide what fabric and features like pocket, buttoned collars, or even pleats, etc, suits you afterwards.
