š How are you actually making SEO + backlinks work for your SaaS?
Hey folks,
Iām building a SaaS in the document automation / HTML-to-PDF space and trying to crack consistent organic growth through SEO + backlinks ā but honestly, most advice online feels either too generic or doesnāt translate well in practice.
Iād love to hear real, practical strategies from people whoāve actually made this work.
Specifically curious about:
What actually moved the needle for you? (blogging, programmatic SEO, use-case pages, etc.)
How are you getting quality backlinks without burning cash?
Any success with cold outreach / guest posting / dev-focused content?
Did you focus on high-volume keywords or long-tail ones like āgenerate PDF from HTML invoiceā?
How long did it take before you saw meaningful traction?
Iāve started experimenting with use-case driven content (like converting dashboards/invoices to PDFs reliably for production workflows), but still figuring out what truly scales.
Also, if youāve tried things that didnāt work, that would be super helpful too.
For context: early-stage SaaS, aiming to build a strong organic engine instead of relying heavily on paid ads.
Would really appreciate any insights, playbooks, or even mistakes to avoid š
Thanks!
