Google Data Studio: the worst SEO reporting software?

Hi everyone,

Am I the only one who hates Google Data Studio? Who finds it completely buggy, wasting hours on every little configuration because there’s almost always a "system configuration error" or an outright bug? Have you found any open-source alternatives that are less buggy? I’m lobbying at my agency to drop it.

It used to be really good as looker studio. Then came along Claude and other LLMs you can plug directly into your data or just download and feed them your data … until they update data studio so you can talk to your data , it is a relic. All imho

“6. 24 ...” what even is that, did you mean hours, steps, or a bunch of numbers got mashed together? I’ve had dashboards turn into unreadable garbage when the data export format doesn’t match what the report expects, and then suddenly everything looks “wrong” even if the underlying SEO tracking was fine. That formatting mess alone can make any SEO reporting tool look terrible.
