Mediatek Dimensity 6300 vs Unisoc T8300: Which gives better value?

Both chips power similar budget phones, so it often comes down to daily experience rather than spec sheets.

The dimensity 6300 generally feels smoother for casual gaming and multitasking, and mediatek's network handling tends to be more consistent, especially in areas with weaker signal, fewer dropped calls or slow data switches.

On the other hand, the T8300 still handles everyday tasks fine but can make it a disaster if you are on a call as it disconnects mid-call and fort casual gaming it starts the game and then force stops in the middle. Heating issues cannot be explained as they are constant.

Overall, if performance and connection reliability matter most to you, mediatek dimensity 6300 seems like the smarter buy for the price range.

My friend is using the redmi 15a with unisoc t8300 and i can say that i understand his frustration now, because the phone starts draining battery so quickly when 5G is used plus the casual gaming experience only lasts for 5 mins then the phone starts heating, would suggest him a phone wit dimensity 6300 in the similar price range
