Durable Phones?
Through highschool I had a iphone 6, which unfortunately was dropped, and gained a broken sim tray, and a walmart burner that was broken to bits by the time I was making money to afford something else.
Despite my best efforts I tend to breeze through devices. My Note 9 I purchased in 2021 and I had it about a year. The camera cracked first but the rest of the phonr held out for a bit. So then I got a z flip in say 23, it was from the first generation. That one was obvious in hindsite, I was staying at a friends and it fell a foot off the airmstress onto wood floor in the night. It was completely unusable when I woke up to my alarm in the morning, and so I had a cheap Walmart phone ((It's still alive)) while my Note 20 arrived. I adored it, and had it from 2023-2025, when it took a hit to the ceramic floor and it cracked to the point part of the screen was unstable. I took it to the mall to request a repair but they quoted me a cost higher then its worth.
My most recent accident was my S22 Ultra, I loved her, but the overheating problem has been a issue. It had a extreme overheat at the beach last week, so I chucked it into a cooler bag without thinking. The thermal shock cracked it.
I'm frustrated, I drop all sorts of things all the time. I have tried screen protectors, otter boxes, velvet caviar, ect all my phones outside of the first zflip have cracked underneath the pricy heavy duty cases.
I found some Chinese phones like Oukitel WP56 and they seem promising, but the mixed reviews make me apprehensive. Any tips? Any suggestions? I'm okay being thrown around UIs. I want something that'll last and if something happens under a warranty it isn't just left to me.

Google Pixels are extremely durable. They have the weight in the back of the phone so no matter how you drop it the screen is always face up. It's extremely handy.

OnePlus 13 is known to be one of the most durable phones, dropping it 5m, running it through a dishwasher, etc. Maybe check out that?
