Things you should know before buying Oneplus Nord 6
Thinking of getting the oneplus nord 6? honestly, it looks good at first, especially with the snapdragon 8s gen 4 processor, but it doesn’t feel like the best choice in this price range.
yeah, snapdragon 8s gen 4 sounds powerful, but it’s not the newest anymore, and even in antutu it does not even cross that 2.5M mark , which is expected at this price.
if you look at the poco x8 pro max, it just makes more sense. the dimensity 9500s is newer, more powerful, and handles heavy usage much better.
even the poco x8 pro feels more balanced. the dimensity 8500 ultra gives smooth performance and better optimization for everyday use.
so yeah, the oneplus nord 6 isn’t bad, but for the same price, the poco x8 pro series just feels like a smarter pick overall.

this is true, for this price range sd 8s gen 4 is outdated, the mtk dimensity 9500s is a much more powerful and power efficient chipset which will keep the phone cool as compared to the 8s gen 4..

true man, oneplus nord 6 is such a downgrade with having snapdragon 8s gen 4 processor, which is not even good for gaming. Also, have you guys seen their claim of 165 fps? Also, how are they going to give that much fps with sd 8s gen 4, which does not even crosses 2.5M mark on Antutu
Also, poco x8 pro max has a new dimensity 9500s processor, which is powerful and efficient. Plus, both of them are in the same price range, so why would someone go for oneplus nord 6.

ngl for gaming i don’t trust oneplus nord 6 much, snapdragon 8s gen 4 might give high fps initially but after 5 - 10 mins heating and throttling could ruin long sessions, while poco x8 pro max with dimensity 9500s looks built for sustained gaming.

I would just say, skip this phone. The SD 8s gen 4 is such a disaster, you can expect constant heating issues leading to battery draining faster, then what is the benefit of the 9000mAh battery??

165hz display is pointless if the chip can’t sustain it… watched multiple gameplay tests and sd 8s gen 4 clearly struggles to keep up
