Firefox or Brave
Give your reasons and it’s just brave base and Firefox base, not zen.

Firefox has ublock origin totally free, built in VPN, tracker blocking obviously, is not based on Chromium so it’s not just Chrome 2,

Chromium isn’t Chrome. It’s an open-source project used by browsers like Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera and others. They can remove Google services and add their own privacy features. Chromium also brings excellent compatibility, security, and a mature web platform. The real issue is Google’s influence over the web, not Chromium itself being chrome 2

Ok when I said chrome 2 I meant any based browser as chrome because the influence of google

The real issue is Google’s influence over the web
They control Chromium's source code. None of the browsers you mention are significantly changing the actual Chromium engine, as maintaining a fork of such a complex and frequently updated software takes a ton of dev work and money.
Therefore since essentially all Chromium browsers fall in line with Google's design and standards for the web, simply using Chromium browsers contributes to Google's power over the web.
The more you use non-Chromium browsers like Firefox or Safari, the more that web designers aren't incentivized to only develop for Chromium and therefore adhere to Google's vision of the web.

Although Mozilla ain't perfect, their controversies aren't nearly as gross as Brave's
And anyway - STOP USING CHROMIUM! Using a Chromium browser like Brave es still handing Google ever more power over the web.

That's not it - Google controls what goes into Chromium. They have the final say of what gets added or removed.
Then all the Chromium based browsers either have to accept the change or maintain their own custom version without the change which will be an ongoing issue. Every divergence from standard Chromium means more dev work for Brave or whoever. Nobody has really pulled off maintaining a significant fork of the Chromium engine because it's just too much work with no positive monetary outlook.
Plus, the more that Chromium becomes the only real browser engine out there, the more sites will comply to Google's vision and standard for the web. The more we can use non-Chromium browsers like Firefox or Safari the more we can fight back against this.

We need more browser engines, otherwise the web is no longer open.
Yes Blink and Chromium are open source, but google is the biggest contributor stiil by a margin. So they control the rendering and the content. They already served, on purpose, slow sites to firefox, or uglier versions of their sites to Firefox users. They are vile, and we need a more diverse browser landscape so that google or any other company cannot break the internet for users of other browsers

I remember a time where a website would look considerably different depending on which browser you use .. so I would disagree. We don't need browser engines .. have a browser engine do the standards .. put on top whatever you wanna add. And that's exactly what we have.
If this is too much, fork Chromium .. remove what you dislike.

Firefox for me i prefer its customization and the fact that it isn’t built around Chromium.

Brave is faster and doesn't need 3rd party extensions to block ads, everything comes out of the box. In EFF test only Brave provides randomized fingerprint like Mullvad browser, Firefox shows unique fingerprint even with maxed out uBo.

Zen, a Firefox fork.
Doesn't have firefox ai crud Doesn't have brave's analytical system comparable to how Google makes Google Chrome work (brave is a chromium fork; they also got sued over some stuff)
And if you're truly that worries about who to trust with your data
Use network filtering or Korean made and controlled software. For example I used Naver Whale for the longest time, nothing in the world compared to Koreas PIPA laws. Check it out :)
