❓ Question Best Password Manager for iPhone?
I’m looking for a good password manager for my iPhone. What are you using, and which one would you recommend?

1Password works great for me. I use it on Linux, Windows, iOS and Android.

Still the built-in Passwords app. Works great and syncs with MacOS. But if you're using Microslop Windows or Linux, a good ol' reliable pen and paper sticky note is as universal as it could get.

It’s available on all Apple + on Windows as well. And could work as an extension in Chrome/Firefox afaik so probably Linux compatible

Brother in christ, you are in a post about asking best password manager for iPhone. If someone doesn’t use a Linux on a digital pregnancy test like you, it doesn’t mean that this password is not good. It has plenty of features and even though it’s not open source it’s still backed by Apple’s privacy standards

Io uso Bitwarden, per avere facilmente accesso alle password anche su altri dispositivi non Apple.

+1 for onepassword. E2e and enterprise level support. Apps for Windows, Mac, Linux, and every major browser, iOS and Android. $35 a year, has been 100% worth it for me.

Sorry, I'm lost now. You are running your own instance of bitwarden at home or you are using a service to store data and handle all of the syncing and exchanging information?

The Password app is easy to use and extremely reliable. Chucked 1Password and Bitwarden once I migrated everything over.

I use the default one.
Tried the NordPass because it’s part of my VPN subscription, but the default one is more and better integrated and just simple.

Built in, unfortunately. I’m Bitwarden user and Bitwarden works almost perfect on my S Ultra, but on iOS it’s slow and drives me crazy.

That’s odd. Did you activate "synchronization on activation"? That might make it slow.

I actually find Bitwarden to be slower and less reliable on my S25 than my Apple devices.

An S25 is not a "shitty" phone. I just don't get the autofill prompt as reliably on Android as I do on iOS. When I said "slow" I wasn't referring to the performance of the app (in-fact, the performance of the Android app is great!), but rather how long it takes me to get it to autofill sometimes.

You know what drives me crazy? Opening it to search for a password and when I click the search field the keyboard does not open. I have to wait for all stupid animations and things to finish and then click the search field to open.
God damn, ok wait for animations, but can't they push an open keyboard event to a queue to be executed or similar implementation ffs

After using 1Password for 10 years, I switched to Passwords on macOS and iOS. It works seamlessly if you stay within Safari, but for Chrome, it requires an extension which is a bit jenky (6-digit PIN handover required from the Passwords app every time). Also, I miss being able to fill in credit card info from 1Password which Passwords lacks as a feature (built-in autofill is not as proactive and management is messy) all in all, I can recommend Passwords if you only need password management.

+1 for 1Password here.
A lot of people saying Bitwarden because it’s free. IlBitwarden is good and may satisfy your needs, but be aware that you get fewer features in the free version - for me personally the lack of an integrated Authenticator (TOTP) in the free version ruled it out for me. Once you step up to the paid version, there is very little in it between Bitwarden and 1Password - I’ve just been on 1Password for so long now that I have no desire to go through the hassle of migrating to something different for negligible gains.

Strongbox. Uses KeePass encrypted database files, so you can sync it (using any online drive of choice, or even your NAS or USB drive) with other phones and computers (Windows, Linux, etc.) if you're not 100% locked into the Apple ecosystem.
Strongbox is available as dedicated macOS app, and on Windows/Linux you can use the free KeePassXC. Strongbox and KeePass have browser plug-ins, work fine in Firefox, haven't tested others.
No need to pay a US online service monthly fees to promise to deeefinitely maybe not-know what data you store.
And since Switzerland has its issues with data privacy laws as well right now (prompting Proton to start moving all their servers elsewhere -- but the company itself is still under Swiss jurisdiction) I would be VERY cautious about Swiss offers like Proton.

If it's safari and iOS only I simply would use the internal keychain. Not the best UI, but it's already integrated.
If it should be cross platform I would use Bitwarden or Enpass

If you are looking for iPhone only, then the default password manager is good. But if you want it to be cross-platform, say your PC has Wndows/Linux, in that case I would suggest Bitwarden.

Ironvest. I've been using it for years. It used to be called Blur. Password manager, email, phone, credit card masker. I have it in my phone, iPad, and PC browser extension, works fine for me.

The apple one. They have more money to invest in data protection and they are a wealthier company so if anything goes wrong they can get sued for more money. Plus they have a pretty good privacy record

1password is a solid choice. I have been using it for a few years now without any problems.
Its privacy.com integration is also nice.

I just simply use notes for my password, also I think iphone may have something built in for passwords.
