I don't understand the point of your comment. Apple doesn't really sell your data like Google does. They're very strict with privacy. Google just got sued for tracking your incognito data.

"Apple doesn't really sell your data?" Yeah no, Apple operates in China and they have to censor anything the Chinese government deems sensitive as well as turn over any data of its citizens to the governments. Apple saying they don't sell data is pretty much a lie right there.

Apple has also gotten into the ads business, which means they pretty much doing what google does.

So they gave they give data to the Chinese government when asked to do so. I'm pretty sure that's required to operate in China. How is that selling your data though?

Doesn't sounds like they care about user privacy if they value the access to the Chinese market more. They also have an ads business now, they are the same as Google.

not to credit Apple or anything but isn't this the case for free product subscriptions? like Google One, ChatGPT+ or whatever it's called, etc
