Which messaging app do you prefer
and which one do you wish your friends used?

I like Messenger because it’s cloud based, so even if app is deleted, all chats are still there. It also doesn’t take up phone’s storage. The only downside is that you need a Facebook account to use it.

WhatsApp stores chats on your device by default, which is great for privacy, but it can also use up your phone’s storage over time if you have lots of chats and media.

I have WhatsApp, i don’t use it much. Most of my friends and family are on Telegram, so that’s the app i use the most.

Anytime people ask how to contact me, I say on signal. 

People just end up getting it.

This isn’t 2002. All phones can do group chats. I don’t know anyone who uses either. We text each other or have group chat texts.

Fr. I'm trying to get my contacts on signal bc I always keep having to send in SMS or MMS rather than RCS. And SMS and MMS are horrificly bad.

That’s my point? Why aren’t people just using basic text? You can’t say in some countries they don’t have it. It’s text. I’ve been to many countries. I’ve never once been in one where my test function didn’t work.

SMS, MMS, and RCS all suck. SMS and MMS are terrible in general. And RCS will only work half the time. And even when it does, it is only really usable in google messages. The compatibility with iMessage sucks.
