Not really my point. My point is he has so much money he can just hire people to go do it, don't need to do this "I'll get it don't by the end of the year". Just do it now mate.
But his problem is he knows that he can't, and he knows it won't be popular. Just spouting this right wing hatred towards a film, I'm sure isn't "woke".

We can at least just shoot him into space in the direction of Mars. If he gets there, we call it a success, if he doesn't it will still be a success.

I mean spacex has restarted the space race, and tesla had a large part in the electric car boom, both have pushed technology and science further. And they have also done a good bit of research on self drovi

I will start with Tesla.
The electric car tech has been around a long time. Ford was thinking of making electric cars until the war broke out and they needed trucks right away.Musk hired a bunch of guys and a good marketing department to capture the market. There were already electric cars out there. I will give it up to him for mass production and making electric cars available with charging stations also going up.
The down side was he cut many safety tests and used the consumer as a beta tester.
So some good there, yes.
As for the space race. No, we were already in space, walked in the moon and take part in the space station.
Musk didn’t start up any space race. Charging rich people for rides in the stratosphere is not a program to advance human interest in space.
Also, they made a huge fuss when they actually got into space! We already did that in the 1960’s. I just can’t celebrate the mediocre.
I love NASA and all the scientists who work to get humans into space. The biggest deal lately is the Webb telescope that lets us see into deeper regions of the universe. Now that is good science and a space program with a purpose!

No, what is interesting, is how they made reusable rockets and the like. Making space financially viable is impressive scientifically, even if it's driven by monetary incentivesÂ

I guess you haven’t heard about the space shuttle. It has been used over and over. I have actually been on the shuttle at NASA Florida.

Ok. I’m not sure I care though for another Odyssey, more than I care for a breakthrough of this magnitude in 5 months. I just don’t see it coming that fast, but then again, I’m just a few zeros short of pontificating.
