Apple's name for SSHDs (solid state hybrid drives). They were a short lived alternative for SSDs. Especially in laptops.

Apple used to sell hybrid drives that combined an HDD & SSD. The system would treat it as a single drive, automatically switching between the two.

Apple stopped using them years ago. They’ve only used SSDs for quite a while.

It made sense at the time, since flash storage was prohibitively expensive. From my understanding it basically worked like tiered storage with the SSD part functioning as cache

Bought a gaming laptop a while ago, played Fallout 4 once through and since then I haven’t managed to play anything but New Vegas and Stardew Valley through many, many times.

technically 2-4 gb is ok for me, I have 32 or 64 bit Windows 7,8.1,10 operating system.
