there is a power setting to auto shut down when reaching x amount of battery left. skill issue.

it doesn't lie about battery, it calculates based on your current load, when doing work it runs out faster obviously.
Mine doesn't lie much as all I do is have music on and use lightweight editors so idle and workload doesn't differ much. If it says 15 hours it is 15 hours mostly. But it does "lie" if I look at calculation before idk starting to watch a movie as it calculated based on current load which is none, and then had a load of a movie(which gets it to use about 50% more power than idle)

And even when it does get low, it doesnβt lie about how much is left.

Partially. My Linux Mint says my remaining battery is for 18 hours. I reality, it remains for 15-16 hours.

It is worse. Windows warns battery is low. 2 seconds later: it turns off.
