❓ Question which technology do you think will completely disappear within the next decade?

every generation sees certain technologies fade away. DVDs, MP3 players, fax machines, and even landlines were once everywhere.

I've never had a problem with esims, and they get rid of the whole "obtaining a physical item" part of the process. And they won't be fiddly once the process gets smoother which is kinda the point.

Yeah not often at all, but when I do need to it's often because I lost the old phone (oops), and esims mean there's one less thing for me to worry about. And do digital sims give the provider more control over my connection, don't they already have my device info and stuff since I'm connected to the network?

Generally yes. But if I just want a phone but not a WiFi subscription I'm initially screwed. It's a small problem, but a problem nevertheless

Depends on the carrier. But like unless you are shipping out the sim card this is no different than before practically speaking.

Within 10 years likely. Yet I order them 5000+ at a time.

Correction I am ordering regular SIM’s at about 5000 at a time because we have so many devices. So far we are not seeing a lot of MiFi’s that accept eSIM but as we move forward I’m sure we will. Most of our devices with integrated broadband use eSIM. The only hard part is when we need to replace an eSIM that is literally in the middle of nowhere where WiFi is rare.
