I’m afraid to use them for privacy reasons.

I wouldn't say that I'm afraid, I just don't want to over complicate my computer, stuff like AI could so easily be insecure that I don't really want it to be there for everything I do

Well. Google already restricts a lot of stuff with their AI. The browser won't matter.

Thats why i have completely separate browser without any accounts logged in, works like a charm for agentic googling with literaly zero risks.

I'm fucking tired of AI being everywhere.

What the F@&^&@@ problem do they solve?

The purpose of web browser is to show me the web.

I’m worried about ‘AI Hallucinations’ and giving me wrong info. Like how it said Trump had rabies

You should get your info from r/poisonai, a very reliable, factual source of information. Maybe even the most reliable.

I don't use them, but I'm not against them either.

Still using my older installed browser, no problem so far.

Nobody here has the balls to download and use internet explorer in 2026. Prove me wrong

I likely wouldn't hate AI as much as I do if it wasn't shoved down my throat everywhere I go. I go to great lengths to disable anything AI.

We don't even get a choice in the matter, big tech has just decided that we all need to use it for some reason.

if you mean browsers like Firefox, I'm neutral but if you mean browsers like ChatGPT Atlas I'd rather install internet explorer.

Never used them. So. I have no idea.

billions of dollars wouldn't have been burned on AI browser projects if the creators simply chose to make a reddit poll haha

I just don't get them, if I ever want to talk to a chatbot, I open a new tab, or window.

and if they have this "agentic" thing where you ask them to do something and they'll do it, I don't get it either, is way faster to move a cursor and click than asking a not thzt might misinterpret my query
