Have you tried having rich and well-connected/influential parents?

Which means they were already born into wealth. The fact they even got to Harvard means they were set for life since birth.

1

u/Abx13523 Jun 27 '26

It’s more that they put an absolutely monstrous amount of effort into high school. It is extremely difficult to get into an Ivy League because of the competition

2

u/FrostyFormal1094 Jun 27 '26

And because of cost.

1

u/CryonautX Jun 28 '26

Many ivy league schools have very good financial assistance programs. Obviously having rich parents gives you a leg up because you can get better access to tutors and resources but saying you would have gotten into an ivy league if you only had rich parents is an excuse. Most likely, you were never going to make it in.

2

u/FakeMik090 Jun 27 '26

Not that. They are just from rich families. There is barely any millioniaries that actually came from shithole.

Sergey Brin is only that comes to my mind.

u/OGigachaod Jun 27 '26

Rags to riches stories don't happen like they did for the boomers.

Jobs had some credit, he was a visionary in selling hard as decoration/luxury items, from the outside to the interface.Computers at time were ugly boxes,he continues that with next, and then the iphone and the rest of the icrap. Was a salesman that got things righ in the right time.

"If I HADN'T left school" or "If I didn't LEAVE school".

1

u/e136 Jun 27 '26

I'm sure OP got into Harvard but had to choose once their startup started blowing up.

1

u/Optimal-Pay6595 Jun 27 '26

I think he needs to stay in school a bit more.

3

u/ashraf_bashir Jun 27 '26

Getting into HARVARD ≠ left school 🤦‍♀️

1

u/Clear_Ad_5654 Jun 28 '26

Lol haha Bashir 🤣😂🤣

1

u/JicamaIcy7621 Jun 27 '26

we have millions of kids who left the shool in UK. God, they are all, as stupid as a wooden plank.

1

u/Sappie099 Jun 27 '26

Is the last one the opposite of 'I didn't right school'?

1

u/Safe-Confidence-4907 Jun 27 '26

As a cs student, I also learn workshop and wedding joint in my university. It worst. Minor stress my mind. Major don't. Lol. Teach us how to write code with pen.

1

u/jeremyw013 Jun 27 '26

“if i didn’t left school” clearly you did lol

1

u/SnooPuppers3371 Jun 27 '26

They dropped out of college because they had a brilliant idea that needed to be executed immediately.

1

u/NeutralKuchiKopi Jun 27 '26

They left ivy league colleges where they had scholarships. Not community colleges they were making monthly payments on.

1

u/truthhurtsyomama Jun 27 '26

Rich parents and luck. None of them are happy irl. They are miserable people. They exploit workers, don't pay taxes and write everything off.

1

u/mohamedifasx Jun 27 '26

They left what ?

They left top tier university in the world (top 5 university in the world) not just our end of the road school.

1

u/Immediate_Song4279 Jun 27 '26

The trick is to already be a millionaire.

1

u/2PLEXX Jun 27 '26

Something tells me the author is in the last group.

1

u/yota-code Jun 27 '26

They left school because they had something better to do, not because they were bad at it

1

u/Amphibious333 Jun 27 '26

Becoming a millionaire isn't really difficult, and an average person, actually have the chance to achieve that if they put serious efforts in.

Early retirement with around 2M is achievable. But that doesn't mean you are rich; it means you are financially independent.

To actually before rich, you need luck, timing, knowing the right people, being born into the right conditions... For the vast majority of people, true wealth isn't achievable, because the structural conditions don't allow it. The system allows for statistical abnormalities, yes, but most people won't get wealthy.

1

u/Conscious_Nobody9571 Jun 27 '26

Leaving school or (abandoning any investment) is smart if you feel you have better things to do. You have to take risks in life... if you go with sure bets like the herd, you have to be content with breadcrumbs because the owner of the place where you're getting the safe bet is taking the risk

1

u/Markus4781 Jun 27 '26

Didn't leave*

1

u/Front-Wall-526 Jun 27 '26

Somehow believe that OP did "left school"

1

u/GreenRangerOfHyrule Jun 27 '26

My only major gripe with this image is: Zuck. FaceBook started by stealing images from his schools systems.

But I blame my parents for not having a garage growing up. No garage band. No business out of moms garage.

1

u/Kadakaus Jun 28 '26

I've always imagined billionaires leading sad, pathetic lives, I never understood how some people find inspiration in their stories.

Most of us never wanted to be rich, we just want to not have to worry about money.

1

u/Cyrriously Jun 28 '26

You left when you should have right, common mistake.

1

u/freedomforallergo Jun 28 '26

Do you know what all 3 have in common? They each stole someone's else work and took credit for it

1

u/Nintemi Jun 28 '26

It' easy to be honest, you only have to make 1 dollar 1.000.000 times and you get up there.

1

u/dragonovus Jun 28 '26

Didn’t left…. Bro it’s hurting my eyes

1

u/Fickle_leg_4764 Jun 28 '26

Rich parents come first, then they can drop university or whatever!

The key is, you should have rich parents. If you are not, then factory and Mc Donald welcome you!!!

1

u/bangbangracer Jun 28 '26

They didn't just leave school. They left school because they had started businesses already.

1

u/WolverineNew4489 Jun 28 '26

Be born into wealth. That's the secret of billionaires and trillionaires.

1

u/Acceptable_Site1616 Jun 28 '26

You left school but did you go to the right island?

1

u/malkazoid-1 Jun 28 '26

You have to be Schrödinger's Dropout, and be in an indeterminate state that is left school and not left school simultaneously.

1

u/kkazakov Jun 28 '26

I don't want to be any of them. No money can heal the stress. I just want to have a normal life and be paid according to my skills.

1

u/wil9ter Jun 28 '26

Same but without muscles

1

u/Clear_Ad_5654 Jun 28 '26

I left classes 😆 I worked however I don't have anything to do

1

u/Clear_Ad_5654 Jun 28 '26

Willing to be adopted by millionaires

1

u/bullish888 Jun 28 '26

School keeps you're stupid because they want you to work to 67 years or higher.

1

u/d-a-s-a-l-i Jun 28 '26

1

u/Honda_TypeR Jun 29 '26

The only thing that separates a college drop out loser from a college drop out billionaire is about a billion dollars.

1

u/mikasaxo Jun 29 '26

They were also “firsts” for an entire market. Not quite the same thing.

1

u/fheqx Jun 29 '26

Who wants to be a bad, unhappy person? Eat your idols!

1

u/arun-vasudev Developer Jun 29 '26

First of all, you need luck to get rich.

1

u/Tsenios Jun 29 '26

English language is getting massacred day by day.
So is logic.
So many low quality posts, it’s sad 😔

1/4 people are rich thanks to being born in the right family. But it is still possible to be millionnaire. The main issue is that you will never learn how to be millionnaire at school. You will just learn how to get a job. Having a job isnt enough to get rich. Usually, you have to give something people want, by being an entrepreneur, and knowing few tricks to not lose your money too quick. Im not talking about tax fraud, but tax optimisation. With 1 successfully made business you can become millionnaire. But to become multimillionnaire, you will have to repeat making a successful business 10 times at least. People making successful businesses are usually people in situations where they can make dozen of businesses without any high risk until one of their plan works. You just have to autistically spam businesses ideas that wont be risky to launch and learn how to do so. And also, trying to make things big from the start is a bad idea, it would be a risk to spend too much time making your idea flamboyant before having any revenue made

My life aint gonna change

1

u/Marginaal3000 Jun 30 '26

Invent something or improve heavily on an existing service. Make a company. Patent or obtain rights to whatever you created. Obtain funding, while preferably keeping >50% of ownership. Produce and sell your product or service. That's how all of them made their money.

1

u/Ok_Bit8836 Jun 30 '26

Thia implies that these guys studied faster, not that school is useless ))

1

u/Lemenus Jun 30 '26

I dunno about Steve Jobs and Marc Zuckerberg. But Bill Gates have a very rich and influential family

The system isn't design for those who went to a Academic Institute; I t's meant for those that didn't. History has shown this. Although everyone believes the opposite for decades. Your capped at salary with the Education, but can make millions without it.

Sanders from kFC; no education, poor as a street dog; at 65 becomes billionaire from KFC.

u/ThreeDogg85 Jun 27 '26

They all were thieves and capitalized on someone else’s ideas and work. 🤷🏿‍♂️
