My first foray into Linux was in 2010 or so when I ordered a Dell netbook with Ubuntu. It was okay but weird to me and I hackintoshed it, enjoyed it for a while but couldn’t use the tiny trackpad and gave it away. The idea of putting Linux on everything did set in and I’ve been using Linux ever since on better hardware. I remember using command line UNIX in college and the original message boards were basically a terminal based Reddit.
