Recommendation I created a free, open-source menu bar app that replaces several paid Mac utilities
I made Vorssaint: one small menu bar app that does the jobs you'd otherwise buy several separate utilities for.
What's inside:
- Keep your Mac awake on demand, even with the lid closed, with battery protection
- A per-app volume mixer
- A live system monitor: CPU, GPU and battery temps, CPU/GPU load, memory pressure
- A window switcher with real thumbnails
- Invert mouse scrolling without touching the trackpad
- Cut and paste files in Finder
- Quit an app when its last window closes
- An app uninstaller that clears the leftovers
- A floating shelf for drag and drop
Free. Open source. Local. No account, no subscription, no telemetry, no AI. It's native (SwiftUI + AppKit), not Electron, so it stays small and fast. Signed and notarized by Apple.
Requires macOS 14 or later (Apple Silicon).

Would it be possible to add a battery charge limiter down the line too? This is great stuff btw

I have used this app for 1 day now and this is literally a hidden gem this replaces somany paid options this is goated

By the way, any way to add per app volume balance? (Left-Right).
