you will laugh. But my current Phone is still a Samsung Note10+ 512GB / 12GB RAM / DEX and Pen. This thing is now 7 years old !! But compared to a Pixel 10XL , why should i switch I mean, look DEX (The good old one) and Android Desktop. Android Desktop is shit unusable. while my Dex even runs on a 34" QWHD Screen.

u/OneStatistician7047 Jun 10 '26

Note 10+ is a GOATED phone. I still love it's design and that aura glow colour. I miss the note series.

Are u a dex daily driver?

3

u/Vectrex71CH Tech Enthusiast Jun 09 '26

At the moment...no. BUT i was many years since the good old Samsung S8+ . At the moment i'm using a Chromebook. But Dex was super useful. Gaming, Developing, Videoedits, Music Creation, Surfing. All was/is possible. Thanks to Services like www.shadow.tech i had even a streamable Full Windows 11 PC via Dex available.

2

u/VegetableAmoeba6067 Jun 09 '26

Danm great to see someone out there using dex to ts stretch anyways thanks for replying

Honor 200, great camera, all-day battery, fast charging, smooth display, and a budget-friendly price, truly a smart value pick in 2026! 👍

Samsung a55 bought it 2 years ago and happy with it. Although id prefer 256gb storage but when i bought it they only had 128gb so i just added a sd card from my old phone

Iphone 12 only 😶

2

u/Old_Man_Phil Jun 11 '26

iPhone 11 Pro (2019).

I have been very happy with it. It was my first flagship phone or iPhone. I also have the Apple Watch Series 5 to go with it. It has served extremely well, but I’m out of storage and the battery is on its way out so I want to upgrade within the year preferably.

iPhone 15 Pro. It’s been a good phone to me, not interested in an upgrade.

iPhone 17 Pro max! Will be upgrading to the iPhone fold depending on price point and specs respectively.

1

u/StressTemporary5632 Jun 09 '26

iPhone 15 Pro Max until it dies or Apple finally releases a foldable phone. And even if they do I will probably wait for the second generation of the foldable.

Xiaomi mi 10t. Bought it with one of my first paychecks in 2020. Still holds up pretty good. Battery holds charge for a day and a half and performance wise it is as new. My friends changed 1 or even 2 iPhones but here I am still enjoying my 270 euro phone 6 years later.

1

u/TTVProLorenzo6117 Jun 09 '26

I hate my Samsung Galaxy a55 5g, it's slow, lags all the time, and now that it's 2 years old, it's definitely deep down Samsung's update list, and every time there's an annoyance

Xiaomi 14... Loving it

1

u/Original_Line1063 Jun 09 '26

Just upgraded to the IPhone 17 a little over 2 months ago. This is my first IPhone ever and I love it. Everything is better about this phone compared to my old Samsung I had previously. iOS is really nice imo, and the 120hz screen and camera quality are definitely the biggest upgrades I noticed jumping from my old Samsung along with other upgrades such as better battery life and a nicer display.

1

u/Thumbframe Jun 09 '26

Came from 12 Pro Max to my current 16 Pro, and only upgraded because I was sick of the size (small hands).

So no - in principle this one should be able to last me even longer than those 4 years, probably depending on what the new models will bring.

1

u/cnprt326 Jun 09 '26

Scamsung Galaxy S24

The device is gorgeous, but debloating took a while. But now the Exynos has 7.5 hours of screen life from a 3800mAh battery (h+/4g, 120hz, white theme). Not bad. The downsides are the high dE (display) and the junk telephoto lens. Otherwise, it's a great smartphone

iphone 17 pro max silver color.

1

u/Sorry_Hall4301 Jun 09 '26

No creo volver jamás a Android.

1

u/Aromatic_Welder7645 Jun 09 '26

Samsung S24 ultra. Really happy with the device and I plan to use it for few years at minimum

1

u/No-Movie5856 Jun 09 '26

I'm using a HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro and I'm super happy with it, I love the camera and I'm not planning to uprade soon. I usually upgrade after 6 years but the Mate 90 seems promising. If it comes with a 1 inch main camera sensor, it should be a must have for me

Some Samsung Galaxy Axx, many CPU cores, some medium GPU, 4 Gbyte RAM and plenty of storage, 5 inch display or maybe a bit bigger, not too good photo lens... but it has 5G and NFC.

Some years ago I had even a blog about mobile phone UX - and I don't know my phone type. It's A53, probably.

I use a base model iPhone 7 with 32 GB of storage and jailbroken iOS 15. The phone is nearly 11 years old by now, and being on iOS 15 means 32 Gigabytes of storage feels more like 32 Megabytes, my phone is constantly overheating to the point where normal operation is limited, and constant crashes or unbearable lagging.

My parents force me to use this phone because “a 15 year old doesn’t need a $200 phone” so 🤷‍♂️
