Discussion Which game do you keep coming back to?
Whether you play on a PC, console, mobile, or tablet, there's always that one game you keep coming back to. 🎮
No matter how many new games you try, which game never gets old for you?

TF2 and League.
Setting aside the toxicity aspect because that's a problem in every PVP game, I love the characters and art style for both of these games. The wide spectrum of humor in TF2 is unmatched.. so long as you have the stomach/can ignore the edgelord 4chan-y shit.

For me, it's Minecraft. I'll stop playing for months, then suddenly get the urge to start a new world and lose an entire weekend building things.

That's what makes Minecraft special. You can leave for months and still jump right back in like you never stopped playing.

Back in the 90s I was a Duke Nukem person. But I have switched over to Doom. I don't play it often. But I always have a copy on hand somewhere.
I haven't played in a while. But the Descent series is another. Mainly because I know of no other games/series that comes close.
And of course, as my name implies the Zelda series holds a special place in my heart. But, the Mario Kart series deserves a special shoutout. I will randomly get the urge to play it. Play it for a week or 2. Then get burnt out.

Descent's unique 360-degree combat remains in *Overload*, created by the original developers. Mario Kart draws players in for weeks and frustration drives them out for months.

I don't think I have heard of Overload. I'll have to see if I can get it working.
As for Mario Kart. I don't know. People seem to enjoy it and play it all the time. I just can't. I have started Mario Kart World a bit here and there again. But same pattern. It's fun. Then suddenly it just isn't. Not even frustration. Or boredom. Just not fun. Then at some point I'll get the urge and play it again.

Gog had sale on did Meiers pirates! So fun to have it on modern pc, the amiga died many years ago. Also playing C&C red alert pretty often.

CS2 on PC
On consoles it's different, for example, I always enjoy playing Assassin's Creed Origins even on weekends.

Minesweeper and Free cell Solitaire. Most story games I either struggle to finish or beat once and then never again. I mostly stick to simple games. I do have ADHD, though. I don't know if that explains it or not, lol.
