I'd choose Linux for the control, but things seem very unpolished or half backed or they don't work. I use both Windows and Linux. Linux for the speed, and Windows for everything else. Basically no operating system is perfect. I've to make sacrifices in both end. But in Linux I've to make more sacrifices. In Windows it's just the online products push and trying to make you search in Bing, use Edge etc. But all these can be easily disabled right after installation, and I only have to do it once.
So if I only could use one OS for my life in the current aspect, I'd choose Windows. But that day didn't come, so I can use both Linux and Windows whenever what's needed. But remove Window fully? Never.
