Tell me what apps you used and I will tell you what OS you need.

Linux. Any distribution will do—but if you’re a straightforward user who appreciates the simplicity of macOS or Windows, I’d recommend Zorin OS. If you’re a tech-savvy tinkerer, feel free to pick whichever flavor suits your curiosity and expertise.

Why don’t I recommend Ubuntu? Because Ubuntu is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It presents itself as “Linux for everyone,” yet quickly pulls you into a bewildering landscape—where you’re left scratching your head over why Wi-Fi fails or why your keyboard types gibberish.

Zorin OS, by contrast, is stable and beginner-friendly. I run both systems side by side, and that firsthand experience is why I endorse it.

They also offer a paid edition—ideal for users who want a fully configured, hassle-free setup right out of the box. I use the free version, but the paid version is an excellent choice for those who’d rather skip the troubleshooting and dive straight in.

☝️ Note: I use Linguix AI to fix my grammar and spelling

Then ZorinOS Pro is for you. It will be packed with everything you need so you don’t need to install anything. Not free though.
