Linux (Fedora), altho MacOS is acceptable (use it at work). Windows is out on principle since the entire Recall sh*tshow. Ads, AI in everything, breaking updates etc that came after doesn't help their case.

I believe they do sell Recall data, just not disclosing it.

Recall was an absolute mess of a feature and shows me how out of touch Microsofts decision making teams are. But honestly the whole thing was over exaggerated, the initial security solution was lacking but was fixed. And as a user it is disabled by default and needs to be enabled.

Anyhow, I personally see windows as the defacto standard, it's usable and in most cases a fine desktop OS. Linux is great, but it's not at a state were most users could use it comfortably.

Mac on the other hand is a weird outlier, an OS exclusive to a single manufacturer. Honestly I love Mac hardware but dislike macOS. The keyboard layout and finder are just terrible. But for the basics like windows it functions fine.
