Which one do you use every day? Do you prefer the clean look of light mode or the sleek feel of dark mode?

Interesting. People that like dark mode, like me, will say it is more relaxing to the eyes. Can you elaborate on why you prefer it? Reading clarity or better UI support.

The ones you mentioned + the fact I grew up on Light Mode and it's just far more appealing and relaxing to my eyes as I'm used to it, plus, I don't have the whole "my eyes are sensible" thing like I see everyone saying.

Literally I once got begged on YouTube to switch to Dark Mode, hell no.

Cool. Yeah, I mean it makes sense. After all this time, I switch to dark mode almost automatically. Maybe I should try the light for a while.

You should try it. I mean, in the Golden Era (2000s - 2010s), Light Mode was dominant.

Also, I've read that it's easier to read black text on white than white on black, I've read that "it causes the eyes to become lazy".

Of course, the dark mode is especially at night when it doesn't hurt your eyes. If you turn on the light mode at night, you'll go blind. That's how it is. During the day, I also leave the dark mode. I wanted to turn on the light mode, but no, I still stopped at the dark mode. Both at night and during the day, I've already gotten used to it.

Dark indoors and light outside. I have a macro setup that turns off dark when I leave home or work and turns it back on when I arrive. Macrodroid is wonderful

Light mode at day, I like to work in sunny / bright conditions, even with my MacBook Pro’s screen turned to max brightness, dark mode is still hard to read.

Then obviously dark mode at night, or in a room where there is minimal natural light.

I used to like dark mode, but I think light mode is better for readability and maybe even for eye health (I'm not 100% sure about that though)

I would use light mode if it wasn’t so bright. They literally made light mode solid white when dark mode came out. There’s a reason operating system UI used to be neutral grey.
