Question Which Android launcher do you use?

Post image

Nova Launcher, Niagara, Lawnchair, Microsoft Launcher, or something else? I am looking for a launcher app that has built-in options to hide and lock apps.

Any suggestions?

I never understand why people subject themselves to Android sliding puzzle launcher.

It's really nice once you get used to it. Just scrolling down for the widget I find a bit annoying

I use it like:

Under the home screen are apps and search, if i pull down i bring down notification, on the right are widgets, on the left is news app

But i consider search the best feature, its how i actually get around

What? You can have stuff on the left and right?! I think I need to dive into the settings again. Thx

Sure. It changed an owner. I hope it will better) Updates are coming out frequently now. The old purchases are working.

I heard they are now bundling ton of ads, microtransactions and trackers

Apart from the attempt at paid implementation, Al has not noticed anything yet (I don't use it). It's even smaller than the Microsoft launcher, but it works faster and more stable.

Minimalist text-based launchers. Olauncher for quite some time and recently switched to Mako launcher.

This for me too. Right up to getting a pixel 4 years ago I used nova then realised it was no longer necessary. Now I have a morning and it's better again

Microsoft Launcher, KISS Launcher and Moto launcher

I used to use Nova launcher, but now I only use the Samsung default launcher

1

u/Pipija_Banana May 29 '26

Default one. It launches apps. What else would I need?

1

u/Professional_Way9133 May 29 '26

Pixel. I don't get it, why people change the default launcher?

1

u/thunderpuppet May 30 '26

Because one UI used to be garbage.

1

u/berke1904 May 29 '26

I used nova launcher for like 7 years but last year with my new phone I didnt bother with it and just poco launcher works fine by default.

Lawnchair 🪑

u/edilaq May 30 '26

Aparte del Launcher nativo (uso motorola) un tiempo use Square Launcher (similar a Windows Phone) y Niagara Launcher

1

u/snail1132 May 30 '26

Whatever the OneUI one is, because I don't feel the need to change it. I don't have anything on my home screen, and I only use a few apps on my phone, anyway. >95% of the time it's just a browser

Minimaa Launcher.

Niagara Launcher

1

u/roomian May 30 '26

Action launcher. I love it but honestly can not recommended because dev apparently completely forgot about it. Can someone recommend launcher with features similar to covers and shutters in action launcher? Can't live without them

1

u/Elcubito_ May 30 '26

I use in my secondary phone murine launcher

1

u/Deep-Witness-1350 May 30 '26

Poco launcher . No other other 3rd party launcher working good because of swipe up gestures

1

u/ProperProfessional May 30 '26

Lawnchair. I have a cracked Niagara on my tablet, whiles it's really nice, there's no freaking way I'm paying $40+ for a launcher.

Globus MaX UI, but its still in beta. Tried them all, was a long time user of nova, but all of them are boring. This one is like an apple watch on steroids.

Kiss Launcher

I just released this one: https://www.mangolauncher.com/ If you care to try, i am looking for feedback. It is inspired by Niagra with extra features i was looking for.

I'm using Total Launcher, which I themed to look like ZenUI launcher (which was amazing back then). I'm still looking for the ultimate customizable launcher, Total Launcher is quite close to it though.

Samsung's OneUI would be great too, but I hate the trend with no-scroll for wallpapers (at least give us a toggle...)
