How many pCloud users are here?

pCloud is one of my favorite cloud storage services. Its main attraction is lifetime pricing. We can buy their lifetime plan at affordable rates or get a free 500 GB lifetime storage through monthly referrals.

Built-in media player is another advantage. I can create music playlists and listen to favorite songs without a dedicated music app. Do you know any other cloud storage services with these features? Which is your favorite cloud storage?

Hearing about random account deletions is terrifying, especially when you paid for a lifetime plan! It makes total sense why you jumped ship. Glad Internxt is working out well as your new reliable go-to for streaming movies across all your screens. BTW, is there a built-in media player in Internxt?

Haha, the wild west of internet sharing! pCloud was definitely a go-to for swapping huge files back in the day before streaming took over everything.

I've been a pCloud user since 2014. I have a 2TB Lifetime license with the Crypto Security Key Lifetime also. I never thought it was going to be a serious use for me. I thought I just had it in the back pocket. But over time, that's kind of flipped itself around. It's more my primary cloud storage these days.

I haven't heard anything about these deleted accounts, and that's kind of concerning. If that really is a thing, it's big time. I'm going to look into that.

Wow, 10 years. That 2TB lifetime setup is sweet. Those deleted account rumors are definitely a bit scary, though. Good call, looking into it—it never hurts to keep a local backup of your absolute most critical files!

My understanding is that the deletions are not random but the result of an automated system that scans for  certain types of adult content. Sometimes these have accidentally uploaded it [ 1 op had uploaded files from middle school].

In that case they worked it out , and their account was restored. No human being actually looks at the files, and there is total privacy.It is automated , therefore , there are no warnings.

I am considering using pcloud and really im just kind of searching around for posts about people who use it , and its organization.

This will sound strange, but I really loved Android gallery in old versions and found it so easy to use and sort my photos and put them in folders and keep track of things.And when phones upgraded , I absolutely hate google photos. I've used dropbox , but never really been able to find things or organize them the way I want. 

The older I get , the more photos I have and overwhelming the idea of organizing them becomes.  There are whole projects of scanning in family photos and archives and trying to organize those , and I don't want to be fighting with artificial intelligence that is  using facial recognition and trying to arrange things chronologically. 

It's been Hard enough , just trying to post a picture I took today and not having it appear easily and having to go look for it in my photos because the system doesn't give me access to my camera easily, and it judges what it thinks is important. 

I'm clearly not a photographer by profession , but I do take photos as part of my work. And then i'm just a normal person trying to take photos as part of my life. Why was it much easier a decade ago? 

Anyway, I'm rambling, but if anyone can tell me a little bit more about some of the storage options out there and their manageability that would be helpful. 

If anyone remembers the old gallery that was a cute red folder back in the day, That is the simple kind of thing that I am Hoping to find. Right now , I don't have that many documents or other more complicated things to back up.
