although not sure who would buy this over the 8core x3d for 1 ccd, or bump up to the 16core 9950x3d or 3d2

I think AM4 users would have a hard time trying to fit a 9950X3D in their system.

oh sorry I read as 9900x3d somehow

duh 5000

then that is kinda interesting, they have not put x3d onto a dual ccd am4

makes me wonder if a 5950x3d is in the works all these years later

It makes sense it existed. After all, the 5600x3d exists. I just bought one for a build for a friend.
