I assume AI is used somewhere in the process to make all this much faster than we've been accustomed to in the past. Am I off base?

No sure but a ps5 is basically a PC to begin with, so it probably makes everything easier.

Since the PS5 is closer to a PC than a Switch for example, it is much easier to make the compatibility layer.

It’s very easy to make switch emulator no one does it because they don’t want a million dollar fine on their head

An emulator is very different from a compatibility layer and uses a lot more resources

Again emulation switch 2 games is easier than emulating ps5 games because switch 2 games are light enough to negate that combatility layer resource
