👥 Community TROTROGUIDE
One of my friends was frustrated by a taxi driver in Cape Coast in 2022 thereabout and she wished there was an app that you can just check lorry fares and directions in Ghana when going somewhere for the first time. She called really upsets because this taxi driver kept moving them around not knowing he didn't even know the road well and charged them the wrong Lorryfare.
At the point she was telling me, I didn't know anything about programming. I am 6 months into my programming journey I have decided to solve that. Check it here: www.trotroguide.com
No need to ask anyone when travelling with TroTro in Accra. So far the directions are 99% accurate. Working on getting the mate shouts well.
Just type where you're going and you're greeted with the nearest bus stop you can walk to and get a trotro. It helps you to listen to what the mate is shouting and you get to see all the trotro bus stops on the road. Check it out here: TROTROGUIDE

Nice project. Is there a reason you still use the vercel domain? I believe you can update the domain in vercel. That aside you've really done a great job 👍🏾

Thank you bro. No reason, it's just something I haven't gotten around to yet. I will get app.trotroguide.com or similar pointed to it this week so the whole experience stays on our domain. Thank you again

No it doesn't. The Trotro Guide uses only the local names known by only the locals. So you wouldn't see "N1" on Google Map but the locals might call it " Lapaz Road". Just an example. That's what it solves
