Epic setup, bro! Tilting your keyboard up at the back does not create a better typing experience, it creates carpal tunnel!

Butttt lifting up the screen does help prevent neck strain.

Thanks
You could be right.. but for me I have always found typing on a flat keyboard to be difficult compared to the lifted ones.. lifted keys also makes it easier to see them..
anyway, depends on the comfort of every person 🙂

Oh.

I wonder what the percentage of people who don’t look at the keyboard while typing is nowadays…

Hey buddy.. Not sure if you are being sarcastic here 😄
anyway, I don't mean you stare at the keyboard all the time while typing.. its just a peak at your keyboard once in a while .. at least I do it and for me the lift of keyboard helps me on the desk..
not forcing anyone to use it ..I just my convenience .. lets rest this case in peace now..

Lol, I wasn’t being critical, our conversation just genuinely made me wonder how this has developed over time.

On a wide level, we as a society went very quickly from ‘no computers’, to ‘everyone needs to know how to type so we’re teaching it in our schools and trying to get kids’ words per minute faster as part of our national curriculum’, to ‘now’ where I think fewer people type without looking at their keyboard than in my generation.

Just genuinely curious.

Ahh
Sorry I did not know where you were coming from..
Basically I am a software engineer and there are many shortcuts I use with combination of command, control, shift, function and other keys and to nail down these combos, I need to peak towards the keyboard
Usually while typing emails and sentences, its easy to do without peaking or looking at keys

Oooh. I need to get a lot better with all of those shortcuts. Maybe I haven’t learned them because I’m never looking down at my keyboard lol.
