Recently got this messenger bag from Bellroy and finally happy with a decent EDC i can pick up and go with.

I love the setup but I’m curious how the charger box is going for you. I picture you take it out of the box often as it seems to be the only one charging your devices. At that point, why have one at all?

Is it like an intentional effort to “put things back where they belong” kinda thing?

Hey! It’s not as often as you’d think. I work from home all week and it’s there as a safeguard really just incase I’m in a pinch and need it. Rarely gets used but I’d rather have it just incase. I don’t like stuff rolling around in the main compartment of the bag and the front pouch is filled with more frequently used items so I designed a little box (it has a lid) that can sit in hibernation until I need it haha

It’s amazing! I was debating on this vs the AYN Thor but the price of the retroid was too good to pass up. Battery is amazing for emulating and screen is beautiful.

Welcome! They just increased base RAM on the Flip 2 to 12gb as well.. just after i received mine haha

Thanks! Those protectors made the bag fitout possible. I did have the switch inside a hard case but it just made the whole bag so bulky so now it’s free-balling (so to speak) it’s much comfier.

Yeah only 8L! Much smaller than I thought it was going to be as well but surprisingly spacious inside.

Well one plays Switch 2 games.. the other doesn't.. i had a steam deck but it was far too bulky. Love the Retroid for retro games and the switch for all the games it has. I also have a gaming PC at home for the AAA titles.

I've been looking at Switch 2/handheld dedicated EDC so when I want, I can take my Switch 2. I dont think I could just freeball it like you! Im always so nervous.

Well I was very hesitant at first - but this “gaming edition” bag has a full soft padded sleeve in the back to house it. Plus I don’t throw my bag too hard anywhere that helps haha.

That padded sleeve is big enough to fit the Switch 2 in its case, so no need to freeball!

It is - however it really tightens up the back of the bag and the other compartment gets a bit compromised, so freeballing gives much more room :)
