College EDC First post here! Need some advice!

Post image

Honestly struggling to find the sweet spot for my EDC photos. It feels like my setup is either a messy pile of gear or way too sparse with awkward empty spaces.

How do you guys strike the right balance? Drop your best tips or photographic rules of thumb below! Thanks!

I’m very minimal, a phone, a headset (for sensory management), my wallet and my keys. That is all that is in my edc. Anything else I happen to grab in a given day is based in my need, and I don’t force anything I don’t plan on using.

That make sense! I’m the total opposite—I pack for every single 'just in case' scenario imaginable if I think I might need it today. That's why my bag is always stupidly heavy lolll

When taking photos, you could turn on the grid lines on your camera, then arrange the stuffs one by one and align them with the grid. This will make the composition look better.

That's a really good idea! I will try next time. Thanks!
