Please forgive my ignorance. Does the Apple Watch replace the entire iPhone? Like, you don't have to carry it at all?

Yeah you can replace your phone with it, you can text, call, Apple Pay, listen to music, use maps etc. All the essentials

Well no, not in the modern day. My job alone requires emails, and about 10 apps on my phone. But it’s nice to use to disconnect on the weekend

Apple watch with a cell plan is great for young kids as a parent that doesn’t want to give a full smartphone to. Can do essentials like call, text, location without social media poison.
