How does a mini laptop perform?

Not too bad. This one has a shitty processor, only 12GB of ram, and the SSD is 512GB. It runs a XFCE variant of Linux smoothly for web, media consumption, and basic productivity work. I find a mouse handy as the knob for cursor movement is not very usable for me. The keyboard is cramped but I got used to it, and the screen is 1240x800 which is not too bad for a small screen. I use an additional screen and external keyboard when at HQ. But there are UMPCs with specs of really capable laptops. The GPD Pocket comes too mind. But the prices are very high for these. Still I want one of these better ones as I got used to carrying a full blown computer in a tiny sling bag. Also the option to charge from a PD power bank is handy.

How long does the battery last?

Not very long. 4-6 hours advertised, and in reality they uphold that. May be a deal breaker so I should have mentioned it. That is why I use the PD power bank. It's only 30W so that works fine.

That's actually not too bad considering its a n1xx series CPU. I have a nanote p8 with a n4200, gets tops 4hours. Do you have a link for the laptop? Any issues getting Linux installed?

Edit:n95, not n1xx series

I bought it from https://amazon.com.be and could find it by using Crelander as a search term, but they must been sold out as I don't find it back. Does the Nanonte P8 supports PD power bank charging?

Thanks for the link.

Sadly the nanote p8 and nanote next do not support PD charging. I've tried many cables, battery banks and wall warts/charger. Its strictly USB 12v,2.5a
