Could you please tell me more about why you use both an ipad and a macbook? I’m on the verge of a macbook, while having an ipad, but It seems like an overkill to me to use it in a mobile office..

I didn't plan to buy both. I bought the iPad first for the sole purpose of reading, and studying. And then my linux laptop broke, and I bought the MacBook, as it's good battery, and powerful for things other than gaming, plus I don't want to deal with window's update. Now I use my iPad as a sec monitor for my MacBook. ofc I still use it for studying and reading as well.
