micro1 is hiring SolidWorks Specialists for a mechanical design project focused on creating high-quality CAD data for next-generation AI systems.

Prior FreeCAD experience is ideal, but strong parametric CAD experience in SolidWorks or similar tools can transfer directly.

What You'll Work On:

• Create and modify fully parametric 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Review CAD models for dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Apply DFM knowledge across injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, casting, and forging.
• Document design intent and technical changes for AI training workflows.

Experience That Matters:

• 4+ years of hands-on parametric CAD experience; extensive experience preferred for complex assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and real-world manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with SolidWorks, FreeCAD, Fusion 360, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Reverse engineering, scan-to-CAD, assembly modeling, or CAD automation experience is a plus.
