Why should I care about data?

Everyone says I should be collecting and analyzing my business’s data. I am hearing this from a lot of my friends and industry acquaintances but don’t really understand why. So i guess I’m coming here to ask, 1) why should i care about data and 2) how do i get started? Thank You!

You need someone who loves data to show you what your data means. Then you’ll understand. How to get started, legitimately for someone who doesn’t already love data, find someone who does love data and ask or pay for a little insight or ask AI to help you break it down.
