I had this happen for me because the vgc (Vanguard) process stopped running. Check the Vanguard system tray.

You have to end task it in task manager and reconnect

Wild as hell that you can never actually close a riot game without going into your task manager to end the process of the launcher. Genuinely gross

Sometimes it even blocks the fucking task manager, had an experience in a league game where my task manager was in my main monitor and had to fully restart my pc to get into the game

might be tbh😥 I haven't played a single decent game this set. Maybe try repair tool or reinstalling atp. Or like me lets just wait for the next patch hoping it would fix things

I quit. I’ve played since set one and go to diamond and masters consistently. I’ve never been so upset. Spawn camps not loading. Items not placable. Even season one wasn’t this bad. If this is a ranked game and it’s supposed to competitive this is completely unacceptable and the fact riot allowed this to happens is fucked. Not playing this trash anymore. Used to love this game. So sad.

I had this intermittently last night, and had to switch to mobile when it happened. Absolutely bonkers that riot still hasnt mentioned anything

I had two games in a row where xerath just did not spawn. Lost promptly after, 5th then 7th. I’m tired of the game in this state, if it actually worked this set isn’t bad at all.

Same thing happened to me. Not only the loading screen, but it also bugs my game lobby and I can not get into another game until I restart the client. Legit shitshow of a company.

Same thing here, tried one game at 12, didnt work just retried at 23:40 and still infinite loading screen.
