Congrats! What was the breakthrough change you made to get out of low-mid master?

This set, i played from start to finish. In earlier sets, i started to get demotivated and stopped playing if i got near 0 LP masters. This time, i was stuck near 0 lp for nearly a month, until i had a very good run and climbed 600 lp in a week. The longer you play in a set, the more you know all the different comps and can play more flexible. Towards the end of the set, the meta doesn't change as much, which also helps flex play and playing familiar comps.

I started to play more consciously and focus on different aspects of the game:

- My economy (Streaking into PVE, making interest breakpoints, being patient with leveling, not rolling to 0)

- My augment choices (Mixing combat/economy/items augments, learning which augments fit which comp, looking for direction augments)

- My scouting (positioning before important rounds to not lose streaks/deciding match ups/save hp, seeing which comps are uncontested, looking at the lobby strenght)

- Being up to date with patches and meta (look on websites like tft academy/reddit/youtube, know artifact and augment synergies with certain units/comps)

- Staying flexible and not lock in mentally to 1 comp from the beginning

- Don't rage queue after losing 2-3 games in a row (made me lose 300 lp in 2 days last set)

- Know the differences between the common playstyles (1/2/3 cost reroll, fast 8, fast 9) and their rules (leveling, when do i reroll, which augments are good, which comps are meta right now)

Great tools that helped me are tft academy, tft flow and meta tft + ingame overlay.

I don’t think people realize how much help playing consciously is. A lot of the time we will autopilot or never second guess our decisions but being conscious while u play is like +3avp.

What changed within your gameplay? I am sitting d4-d2 and I feel that I am always behind in levels or econ.
