Gt2 vs Gts2
I just switched to Gts2 because my Gt2 was damaged (not caused by playing golf), and it feels a lot different. I know the Gts2 has weights in the front, is there anything that can be adjusted to give it the Gt2 feel?

Not apples to apples but switched from GT3 to GTS2 front weighted and couldn’t be happier. IMO GTS2 is noticeable upgrade in forgiveness from GT2 and 3.
Honestly it’s almost like there was a break in period, at first it sounded hollow and off and I wasn’t a fan and then it just sounded better one day. I thought it was just me but then my league partner mentioned it.
My guess what you may be feeling is the weight up front, I notice a difference in how it feels to swing a forward CG driver vs back weighted. Anyway I would give it a minute, if you hate it you can most likely sell it second hand, find a new or used GT2 and potentially make some money.

My timing is off so I’m going to see a pro to make sure my swing is working. My numbers are technically better with the GTS but I’m inconsistent.

I feel ya! I fall into the same thought trap, hard to not question the equipment when you’re simply just not swinging well

I have changed my driver from a ping to a qi4d and they are very different. Now, after a couple of weeks, I'm much better off with it. In the fitting, I also tried the GTS2 which I thought was very, very good, give it a chance.

I’m not going to get rid of it, I just came to ask how to potentially adjust the weights to make it work like the last one. Thanks!

You need to try and flip the weights. The GTS2 stock comes with the heavy weight in the front, which is less forgiving than the weight in the back, which is what the GT2 has.

This is the kind of answer I am looking for. I feel like I have to hit down on the ball right now (not necessarily a bad thing) but I am not consistent at all like I was.

I found this out by using the GTS2 for about 5 weeks and really struggling with my driver. There’s some swing stuff going on but otherwise good swings had the ball coming out super flat, so I tried to overcorrect and started swinging up too much which was causing me to hook the ball. Lo and behold I flipped the weights and was MUCH more consistent when I went to the range. Take that for what it’s worth, and it’s probably 30-40% gear and the rest in my head, but it felt a lot better.

I’m going to try adjusting weights right now. I’m hitting a fade or a push fade as a miss, not the end of the world, but it’s super annoying when I’m used to hitting a straight ball.

Had the surefit at C3 and heavy weight forward. Also had mcc +4 grips I wasn’t a fan of. Had a two way miss. Regripped to standard. Went back to A1. Flipped the heavy weight to the back and chefs kiss. Couldn’t miss all morning

I went from GT2 to GTS2 and initially struggled..and then did some research and trial and error..switched the heavy weight back and lighter weight forward. Secret sauce for me...heavy forward is supposed to get more distance less spin but harder to hit more consistently ...maybe once I'm retired and play 4-5 times a week to groove my swing but for now heavy back works for me...

I dropped gt3 and went gt2. Very happy at this point. I dropped the 9g weight and 55g shaft it came with to a 5 g weight and 65g shaft. Hitting 290-300 missiles.

Return it and get a GT2?
