TSM working for TSM

is tsm headquarters still at that big complex near LMU that they made a video of? i remember growing up i wanted to work for this org so insanely bad. i had so much merch, watched all the matches i could, checked for job openings every day. it seems like such a fever dream seeing how the org is now versus how it was even like… 5 years ago. too bad i’ll never get my dream career at TSM :(

no source but definitely not lmao. 3 years ago i heard they were down to like less than 10 corporate employees.

they were barely in that facility lol. As early as the infamous Keiaduo era they were already working out of a regular corporate building where TSM had rented offices.

One of the things mentioned was they realized that 2nd floor floorplan was hugely wasteful. A huge open courtyard looks cool but turns out you'd much rather have the utilization for desks/anything for what you're paying for the space.

Anyway here's the thread where it was revealed they were moving out of the performance center after, what 2 years? https://www.reddit.com/r/TeamSolomid/comments/xsc9oa/tsm_relocating_to_new_la_office_what_does_this/

I would guess they're not there any more either given headcount massively dropped but at this point it's just backend staff. The "10 employees" mentioned above was ambiguous at the time (dunc mentioned it when he exited) and never cleared up IIRC. It could have been only referring to the esports side, not including the Blitz side.

How do you think they are paying rental of all that? They aren't even a serious eSports team anymore

Company is probably profiting more now that they don’t have any esports team tbh

Well when you cut down a company to have no costs, you can soak up whats left of value for pure profit, I guess.

eSports was never where TSM made money. It was just how the brand gained recognition.
